Motorola is expected to announce a new addition to its Motorola One series, Motorola One Hyper. The device has already been in the rumor mill for some time. It is said to be the first phone from the brand to feature a pop-up selfie shooter and come with Android 10 pre-installed. The model number of the phone is tipped to be XT2027-1. It recently passed through Thailand’s regulatory authority NBTC. And now, the device has been certified by the US’s FCC (Federal Communications Commission). According to the listing, the device will be packed with a 4,000 mAh battery. Sadly, the listing doesn’t reveal any more details about the phone.
Motorola One Hyper: Expected specifications
As mentioned, the listing on the FCC doesn’t give us any details regarding the specifications of the Motorola One Hyper. As per previous rumors, the device might flaunt a 6.4-inch FHD+ screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device should be a Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is tipped to come with Android 10 pre-loaded to take care of the software side of things.
On the imaging front, the One Hyper is expected to sport a dual-camera system, including a 64MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and an 8MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture. Its cameras will likely be able to record videos in 4K resolution at 30 fps and record slow-mo videos in FHD+ resolution. On the front, there are only rumors suggesting that it will feature a pop-up selfie camera without revealing its details. For security, you should expect a fingerprint reader at the back of this phone and it might support the Face Unlock feature as well.
Since the Motorola One Hyper has passed through all the key certifications, its launch should not be far away.
