The Motorola Moto G 5G is said to come with the new Snapdragon 750G chipset, 5G support, 48MP triple rear cameras, and 5,000mAh battery.

Moto G 5G appears to be one of the next smartphones from Motorola as its specs have just been leaked online. Given the specs, we believe that it should be a slightly downgraded model of the Moto G 5G Plus that launched in July with dual selfie cameras and Snapdragon 765G chipset. According to the new leak, the upcoming 5G phone will feature the newly-released Snapdragon 750G chipset, which supports 5G network, mmWave, and AI noise suppression. In another leak by SlashLeak, we also get a good look at the phone’s front design.

Moto G 5G: Specifications (rumor)

According to the leaked photo, the G 5G could feature a punch-hole, which is pretty expected since most of the smartphone makers use the design this year. The punch-hole will be placed in the top center of the display. The screen is expected to measure 6.6 inches in size and feature a standard 60Hz refresh rate as well as FHD+ resolution. For now, we are not sure whether Motorola will use an LCD or AMOLED panel on this phone. The handset will come in at least one memory configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (should be expandable) and a beefy 5,000 mAh battery.

At the back, it could have a triple-camera lens setup, including a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor, a 2MP OmniVision OV02B10 macro camera, and an 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 telephoto camera. On the front, it could be equipped with a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q shooter for taking selfies.
