Motorola Moto E7 Plus Review
Motorola Moto E7 Plus Release Date
Motorola officially announced the Moto E7 Plus in September 2020.
Motolora Moto E7 Plus Price
The price of the phone in India is Rs 9,499. There are two colors available. But there is only one variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The phone is sold exclusively on Flipkart.
Motorola Moto E7 Plus Design
When it comes to phones under Rs 10,000, you don’t expect premium design. But it is the opposite with the Moto E7 Plus. The phone feels a bit long. However, thanks to the evenly balanced weight, you can hold it comfortably in your hand.
On the front is a waterdrop notch housing the selfie camera. The bottom bezel is quite prominent when the side bezels can be ignored. This is a similar feature for phones in this segment. A micro-USB charging port and speakers are placed at the bottom of the phone.
On the top is a 3.5-mm headphone jack. On the left are a hybrid sim tray slot and a micro SD card. On the right are a power button, a volume rocker, and a button for Google Assistant. The power button has a textured feel to it, helping users distinguishing it from the other buttons.
On the back is the camera set up placed on a squarish camera module. There is a physical finger sensor with Moto’s winged logo.
The rear panel is made of plastic with a gradient blue hue and a matte finish. It doesn’t attract fingerprints, thankfully.
Overall, the phone has a solid feels thanks to whatever kind of plastic that Motorola used.
Motorola Moto E7 Plus Display
The Moto E7 Plus has a 6.5-inch 60Hz display with a resolution of 1600x720. Moto calls this Max Vision display. At this price point, the color reproduction is okay. Images don’t look as sharp as those on a full HD display. Users will find it difficult to read the content in harsh daylight.
Motorola Moto E7 Plus Camera
At the back of the phone is a dual-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor from Samsung with an aperture of f/1.7 and a2MP secondary sensor dor depth. The camera does have a night vision mode to improve low-light shots.
There is a collection of shooting options and settings like Night Vision, Portrait mode, HDR, Spot color, Cutout, Live filter, Panorama, Google Lens, etc.
With ample light combined with favorable conditions, the phone manages to produce images that are enough for social media. The camera app is easy to use with basic functions.
The Moto E7 Plus is the only phone in its segment to have the night vision mode. Although the quality isn’t comparable to that of the Galaxy or Pixel phones, it does improve the images.
On the front is an 8MP selfie camera that delivers some ok shots in favorable conditions. During low light, noise is visible in the photos.
Motorola Moto E7 Plus Specs & Performance
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 460 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The overall performance of the phone is average. However, the near-stock interface MY UX of Moto and a minimal pre-loaded app make a lot of differences. Out of the box, the phone has Android 10.
The fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone works accurately. But it is a different story with the facial unlock as it fails occasionally in low-light scenarios.
With day-to-day tasks, you will hardly notice any lags or stutters. In terms of gaming, the phone can still handle games like NOVA Legacy, COD Mobile, and Asphalt 9. With more than 35 to 40 minutes of continuous gaming, the phone does become slightly warm.
For storage, the phone has only one storage option. It would have been better if the phone has a dedicated tray for a micro SD card.
Motorola Moto Battery
The phone comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery. With regular use, it lasts more than one day and a half. The 10W charger takes a really long time to charge the phone from 0% to 100%.
That is all the information that we have got regarding the Motorola Moto E7 Plus price, release date, and specs. We hope that it can help you decide whether to spend your money on the device or not.
