Lenovo-owned Motorola is reportedly working on a new offering to its Moto Z series, dubbed Moto Z4. There have already been quite a few rumors about this handset for quite a while already. Now, some specs and features of the phone are now revealed thanks to internal marketing material. The details on this document are in line with some details that were suggested on previous rumors, and it also gives us a good look at this upcoming Moto Z4.

As per the marketing material, it will sport a 6.4-inch FHD OLED screen embedded with an on-screen fingerprint scanner which is different from the 6.22-inch display that was tipped on previous rumors. As for software, it will run the stock version of the latest Android 9.0 Pie with Google Lens and Google Digital Wellbeing alongside Moto Experiences, Moto Actions, and Moto Display. Powering the phone will be a Snapdragon 675 chipset with 5G network support thanks to the help of the company’s 5G MotoMod.
The said document further reveals that the handset will come with a single 48MP rear camera with Motorola’s Quad Pixel tech to combine 4 pixels into a superpixel to deliver a 12MP photo. It is also tipped to have the Night Vision mode which is similar to what Google offers with its Night Sight mode. As for selfie, it is said to have a 25MP selfie camera with a Group Selfie mode. Furthermore, the Quad Pixel mode, which was previously mentioned, will likely be used for delivering sharp 6MP images in low-light conditions. Lastly, you can also expect AR stickers and AI support as well.

Powering the phone is a 3,600mAh cell with support for Turbo Charge fast charging tech. Even though it is not IP certified, the phone is tipped to feature a water-repellent design. Motorola also decides to retain the headphone jack in this new Moto Z phone. Although the document doesn’t reveal the exact pricing of the phone, it does mention that it will cost half the price of the flagships.
As for memory configuration, there will likely be two options, including 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Other notable features include a dewdrop notch, power button and volume rockers placed on the left and a USB-C port at the bottom.
