Moto G8 Power Lite Goes Official With Helio P35 & Triple Rear Cameras

Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite is a watered-down version of the Moto G8 Power that comes with a triple camera setup and an Helio P35 SoC.

Last month, Lenovo-owned Motorola released its Moto G8 Power phone, which is called Moto G Power in the US. Now, the company introduced a watered-down version of the phone dubbed Moto G8 Power Lite. Aside from packing a beefy battery, the G8 Power Lite is equipped with triple rear cameras and a tall aspect ratio display.

Moto G8 Power Lite: Price & Availability
The Moto G8 Power Lite will be up for sales in Germany and Mexico for a price of EURO 169 (around Rs. 13,900). It will be soon heading to other markets in Australia, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Arctic Blue and Royal Blue are two color variants of this phone.
Moto G8 Power Lite: Specifications
The handset sports an IPS LCD panel with a size of 6.5 inches, a tall 20:9 aspect ratio, and HD+ resolution. On top of the display, there is a water-drop notch is where an 8MP selfies camera that supports Face beauty, bokeh video, and HDR. The device measures 164.94x75.76x9.2 mm and weighs almost 200g.

It is driven by an Helio P35 octa-processor clocked at 2.3GHz. The device is available in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, which is expandable by putting a microSD card. Fueling the whole package is a 5,000 mAh battery that only supports standard 10W charging technology. To take care of the software side of things, it is pre-installed with Android 9.0 Pie. In terms of connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, dual 4G VoLTE, micro-USB 2.0, headphone jack, and Bluetooth 4.2. For security, the brand mounts a fingerprint sensor inside its logo at the back.
For photography, you can use either an 8MP selfie camera on the front or a triple-camera lens setup at the back. The rear cluster includes a 16MP main sensor with an f/2.0 lens, a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2MP depth helper with an f/2.4 lens. Camera features include face beauty, Google Lens, Face Beauty, 1080p video recording at 30fps, and dual camera bokeh.
