At the Mediapad Pro launch event, Huawei CEO Richard Yu revealed that the company sold more than 7 million units of the Huawei Mate 30 series, which is 75 percent higher than its predecessor, Huawei Mate 20 series.

The Mate 30 series is mainly sold in China, although they can still be found in other Asia Pacific markets. However, the milestone of 7 million units in 2 months from the time of sale is a success, especially with Huawei's situation of being embargoed from the US. The above 7 million units include the Huawei Mate 30, Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Huawei Mate 30 5G, Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G and Huawei Mate 30 RS Porsche Design.
There are two main reasons why the Mate 30 achieved such success: First, it is a great smartphone in terms of power, design and camera. Next, it was bought by the push of national pride, when Huawei was on the embargo list of the US. In addition, the Mate 30 series has many different memory configurations, at many different prices for users to easily choose. It's not clear if Huawei will be allowed to do business with Google again. If Huawei is allowed to launch its Mate 30 phones with Google services, the result might be even more impressive.

At the same event, the brand also unveils its flagship Honor V30, Honor V30 Pro, and Huawei MatePad Pro. While the Honor V30 & V30 Pro are two new smartphones in the Honor V series, the Huawei MatePad Pro is a new tablet from the company. The two Honor smartphones arrive with a Kirin 990 SoC, 5G connectivity, EMUI 10, triple rear cameras, dual selfie snappers, and a 4,200 mAh battery . Meanwhile, the MatePad Pro is packed with a Kirin 990 SoC, Quad-HD+ display, and a 7,250 mAh battery. The starting price of the Honor V30, V30 Pro, and MatePad Pro are CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 33,500), CNY 3,899 (around Rs. 39,600), and CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 33,500), respectively.
