Mid-Range Honor 20i Announced: Triple Rear Cameras, 32MP Selfie Camera, Kirin 710 SoC

Alongside the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro, Huawei's sub-brand Honor also unveils Honor 20i with Kirin 710 SoC, triple rear cameras, and 32MP selfie camera.

Honor finally brings the Honor 20 series to India today. The series includes three offerings, Honor 20i, Honor 20, and Honor 20 Pro. While the Honor 20 and 20 Pro are high-end smartphones, the Honor 20i is launched in the mid-range segment. The phone comes with a Kirin 710 octa-core processor, 6.21-inch FHD+ display, triple rear camera setup, a 32MP selfie camera, and more.

Honor 20i: Price & Availability

The Honor 20i variant with 4GB RAM / 128GB internal storage will be priced at Rs. 14,999 and go on sale in the country from 18 June. There are a total of three color variants, including Gradient Blue, Gradient red, and Magic Night Black.

Launch offers include 2.2TB complementary data and cashback worth Rs. 2,200 for Jio users. Buyers can also purchase the phone with no-cost EMI and get 90 percent buyback guarantee in 90 days.

Honor 20i: Specifications & Features

The phone packs a 6.21-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a water-drop on the top for a selfie camera. Its display has a 2,340 x 1,080p resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is driven by an in-house Kirin 710 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot (use the second SIM slot). The phone also has a few more memory configuration with 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of storage. However, it is unknown whether Honor will bring those to India.

Moving to the camera department, it sports a triple camera setup at the back. The setup comprises of a 24MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is a 32MP shooter for selfies and video chats. Its cameras are supported by many features like night scene mode, AI beauty, panorama,
professional camera, portrait mode, and more. For security, it features a fingerprint scanner mounted at the back. Finally, it is stuffed with a decent 3,400 mAh battery with support for 10W charging.
