Micromax iOne Goes Official For Rs 4,999, To Compete Against Xiaomi Redmi 6A & Realme C2

India-based Micromax just announced a new entry-level smartphone called Micromax iOne with a water-drop notch display and an UNISOC SC9863 octa-core processor.

The last time the India-based smartphone producer Micromax announced its handset was in December 2018. At that time, the Indian company unveiled two handsets called Micromax Infinity N11 and Micromax Infinity N12 as two first devices from the company to come with a notched display. Now, it launched a new device called Micromax iOne in the budget segment with a notched display as well. In addition, the handset is also the first one to run on an UNISOC SC9863 SoC. The entry-level Micromax iOne comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,999 and it will go on sale across many channels from today.

Micromax iOne: Specs & Features

The device sports a 5.45-inch notched display with HD resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. As mentioned, powering the phone is an UNISOC SC9863 octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM + 16GB of storage that can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. In terms of camera, the device is equipped with a 5MP rear camera and a LED flash on the rear. That is the same on the front as it features a 5MP selfie camera and a LED flash as well.

Its connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi. Fueling the Micromax iOne is a 2,200 mAh battery. For software, it ships with the latest Android 9 Pie to take care of the software side of things.
