Xiaomi Mi CC9e and Xiaomi Mi CC9 are about to hit the market on 2 July and ahead of their official launch, the brand and its executives have just shared some new teasers that give users a better understanding about the back panel design of the Xiaomi CC9 and its retail box. The handset was previously confirmed to feature a 48MP rear shooter and a 32MP selfie snapper. In these new teasers, the handset is seen to feature a triple camera system at the back.
There have been a few images of the Xiaomi Mi CC9 shared on Weibo by Xiaomi and the company’s CEO Lei June. The photos show that the handset will come with a gradient glossy rear panel with triple rear cameras stacked vertically. We don’t see a fingerprint reader at the back, and that might indicate that it will be equipped with an on-screen fingerprint scanner instead, something that was already rumored before. Mi CC9’s edges are both tapered for firmer grip and we can see a USB-C port and two speaker grilles at the bottom of the phone.
A separate Weibo post by Lao Wei - Xiaomi CC’s product manager revealed the Xiaomi CC9’s retail box which is seen to come with a minimal white design. The box also has a color ‘CC’ logo covering the top half of the box.
The CC9e and CC9 will be first two phones to launch under the new selfie-centric “CC” series which mostly aims the youth. The upcoming Xiaomi CC9 is said to feature a full-screen display without any notch on the front.
The two phones are said to come in multiple options, and the latest price leak suggests that they will be retailed from RMB 1,599 (around Rs. 16,200). Rumored specs of the Xiaomi CC9 include Snapdragon 730 octa-core processor, 6.39-inch FHD+ display, 4,000 mAh battery, 32MP selfie camera, and 48MP primary Sony IMX 586 sensor.
