Meizu 17 Renders Leaked: Curved Punch-Hole Display & Quad Cameras

Compared to its predecessor Meizu 16, the Meizu 17 can be considered a great upgrade with a full-screen design, a curved edge, and quad rear cameras.

Last August, Meizu launched the Meizu 16 and 16 Plus flagship duo in an event in China. After nearly a year, recently, the successor version of this phone, Meizu 17 has been suddenly revealed through a series of new renders leaked online, thereby giving us an overview of the handset’s design.

Looking at the rendered image, it can be seen that Meizu 17 will be equipped with a bezel-less screen, which is curved on both sides and almost covers the entire front. In addition, this screen also features the punch-hole design with a cut-out in the middle to accommodate a single selfie camera.

If this render is to be believed, the Meizu 17 will come with several significant upgrades compared to its predecessor in terms of design.

Moving to the back, Meizu's upcoming flagship will have a circular camera module placed at the center of the upper half. This camera cluster consists of four sensors arranged in a square formation, surrounded by a circle and has an LED flash in the center. Like the front, the back of the device is also curved on both sides, thereby bringing the most comfortable grip for the user.

In terms of hardware configuration, Meizu 17 is expected to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 5G chipset, supporting dual-mode 5G network. Unfortunately, other specifications are still a big mystery and therefore, we need to wait for Meizu's official announcement and related leaks in the near future.

It is worth noting that Meizu recently opened a 5G research and development center in China, and posted a screenshot to tease the 5G connection speed on its testing device. In addition, a series of leaked renders also shows that Meizu 17 may come with a black color variant or a version with a lemon back.
