LG W Series To Launch in India On 26 June

The LG W series is officially confirmed to make its appearance in India at a launch event in New Delhi on 26 June.

LG has recently teased a new smartphone series for the Indian market called LG W series in the last couple of weeks. Now, the brand has confirmed that the LG W series will make its debut at a launch event in the country on 26 June. It will start at 11.30 am in New Delhi.
LG hasn’t confirmed how many phones it will announce at the event, but rumor has it that there might be a total of three smartphones being introduced. We have already got some details of one of the phones dubbed LG W10. The identity of the other two are unknown, but the top-end phone in the LG W series might be called LG W30 which is said to come with a triple rear camera system as recently teased by the South Korean company.
The specifications of the LG W10 have been revealed in a listing on the website of Android Enterprise. The smartphone is listed to sport a 6.2-inch screen with unknown resolution and runs Android 9.0 Pie. For security, it will feature a fingerprint scanner that will be mounted on the rear. One of its memory variants will be 3GB RAM / 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD slot.
A recent hands-on image of the handset suggested that it will feature a polycarbonate design with a headphone jack, a speaker, and a charging port. In terms of camera, there will likely be a dual camera setup stacked vertically on the rear. As per recent reports, the LG W smartphones will come with a price tag of below Rs. 15,000 and it set to take on the likes of Xiaomi, Realme, Samsung, and other brands in India.
