LG G8X ThinQ Arrives In India With Snapdragon 855 & DualScreen Accessory

The LG G8X ThinQ was officially launched in September and finally arrives in India this month. The LG flagship features a Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. However, that is not the only highlight of the phone as LG also offers a DualScreen accessory that has two displays - a smaller 2.1-inch monochrome OLED panel and a 6.4-inch display.

LG G8X ThinQ: Price in India and Availability
The LG G8X ThinQ is already up for sales via offline stores across India in a single color variant - Aurora Black. The price of the phone in India is Rs. 49,999 and it ships with the DualScreen accessory.
LG G8X ThinQ: Specifications & Features
On the front, its 6.4-inch OLED panel supports up to Full-HD+ resolution and has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 83.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. Protected the display is a layer of Gorilla Glass 6 while the rear panel is covered by Gorilla Glass 5. In terms of software, it comes pre-installed with LG UX 9.0, which is based on Android 9.

As mentioned, it gets processing power from a Snapdragon 855 SoC, coupled with an Andreno 640 GPU. The phone only comes in a single memory variant, which packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage (can be further expanded up to 1TB with a shared SIM slot).

For photography, there is a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats. At the back, it gets a dual-camera system, including a 12MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, DPAF, and OIS. The secondary camera is a 13MP ultra-wide unit with an f/2.4 aperture. The camera cluster is backed by a Dual-LED flash, panorama, gyro-EIS, Full-HD video recording at 30/60/240 fps, and 4K video recording at 30/60fps. Under the hood, the whole setup is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery that can be charged with 21W fast charging or 9W wireless charging. Security-wise, it uses an under-display fingerprint sensor.
