The next flagship offering from Lenovo, the Lenovo Z6 Pro, has finally been unveiled in China. The phone is introduced as the direct successor to the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT that was launched last year and the first handset to pack the most powerful Snapdragon 855 chipset. This fresh Lenovo Z6 Pro is powered by the same chipset, but it also comes with some interesting features such as AI-supported quad rear cameras including a ToF camera, a liquid cooling technology, a large cell, and the 6th-generation on-screen fingerprint scanner. Previously, the phone was touted to be the first phone to capture photos with a 100MP resolution, but the Chinese phone maker didn’t mention the said feature at this launch event.

Lenovo Z6 Pro: Availability & Price

The handset is currently priced at CNY 2,899 (around Rs. 30,100) for the base option with 6GB of RAM/128GB of storage. You can also buy the options with 8GB of RAM/128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM/256GB of storage for CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 31,100) and CNY 3,799 (around Rs. 39,500), respectively. The top-end variant with a massive 12GB of RAM/512GB of storage will cost CNY 4,999 (around Rs. 51,900). It will come in two color variants, Red and Blue.
Lenovo Z6 Pro: Specs & Features

The device sports a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 6th-generation on-screen fingerprint scanner and a water-drop notch on top. The display of the Lenovo Z6 Pro also supports HDR 10. Powering the phone is the latest Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM + 512GB of internal storage. For better thermal management, the handset is equipped with a Cold Front cooling technology.
As for software, it ships with the latest Android 9.0 Pie with Lenovo’s ZUI 11 on top. There will be a large 4,000mAh cell to keep the phone running with support for 27W fast charging tech. Other notable features include dual GPS, an audio jack, a USB-C port, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and support for Dolby Atmos sound.

Moving to the camera front, it sports a quad camera system on the rear, including a 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 16MP 125-degree wide-angle camera, a third 8MP telephoto unit with 5x zoom, and a fourth 2MP depth unit. The rear cameras are supported by AI machine learning, 2.39 Super Macro mode, and six-axis OIS. Lenovo also equips the phone with Super Night mode to improve its photography in the low-light conditions. It also comes with Hyper Video feature which is a combination of software and hardware and is touted to allow the cameras to shoot videos with better quality. Up front, there is a 32MP camera for video calling and taking selfies.
