Lenovo Z6 Pro Reached 200K Reservations One Day After Launching

There have been more than 200,000 reservations of the newly-launched Lenovo Z6 Pro in just one day after its official launch.

The latest flagship offering from the Chinese company Lenovo, the Lenovo Z6 Pro, was officially launched on 23 April. It seems like consumers are loving it as the company just announced that there were around 200,000 devices have already been reserved and that is only a day after the official launch event. It is worth noting that these are just registration, so no payment is needed yet.

The handset is currently list on Lenovo’s official website and some online retailers in China like TMall and JD.com. The base variant with 6GB of RAM / 128GB of storage is priced at RMB 2,889 (around Rs. 30,000). The two higher variants with 8GB RAM / 128GB storage and 8GB RAM / 256GB storage are priced at RMB 2,999 (around Rs. 31,200) and RMB 3,799 (around Rs. 39,500), respectively. The top-end model with a massive 12GB of RAM / 512GB of storage will set you back by RMB 4,999 (around Rs. 52,000).

It comes in two color variants, including Green and Red. It also comes with a gradient rear panel with shifting colors. The phone will be official go on sale from 29 April.

Lenovo Z6 Pro: Specs & Features

The device sports a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with an on-screen fingerprint scanner and a water-drop notch on top. Powering the phone is the latest Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM + 512GB of internal storage.

As for software, it ships with the latest Android 9.0 Pie with Lenovo’s ZUI 11 on top. There will be a large 4,000mAh cell to keep the phone running with support for 27W fast charging tech. Other notable features include dual GPS, an audio jack, a USB-C port, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and support for Dolby Atmos sound.

Moving to the camera front, it sports a quad camera system on the rear, including a 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 16MP 125-degree wide-angle camera, a third 8MP telephoto unit with 5x zoom, and a fourth 2MP depth unit. The rear cameras are supported by AI machine learning, 2.39 Super Macro mode, and six-axis OIS. Up front, there is a 32MP camera for video calling and taking selfies.
