The itel A47 was teased last week on the official website of Amazon India. Now, the handset has finally launched in India as one of the most affordable smartphones on the market. It is a 4G device and runs on the Go Edition of the Android 9 Pie.
itel A47: Price in India & Availability
The itel A47 price in India is Rs. 5,499 for the sole 2GB RAM + 32GB storage option. The device comes in two color options, including Cosmic Purple and Ice Lake Blue. It is currently up for grabs via Amazon India.
itel A47: Specifications & Features
The itel A47 specifications are pretty good for its price and it also features a cool design. On the front, the budget smartphone is equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution. There are relatively thick bezels at the top and bottom edges, which are expected for a smartphone at the price range. Powering the phone is a quad-core UniSoC Spreadtrum SC9832E clocked at 1.4GHz. The chipset is aided by 2GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable up to 32GB with a microSD card). It runs on the Go Edition of Android 9 Pie, which is designed for entry-level smartphones.
In the imaging department, the brand equips it with a 5MP camera on the front for picturing selfies along with a LED flash. Around the back, it features a dual-camera lens system, including a 5MP main camera and a VGA secondary shooter, both of which are vertically placed at the top of the back panel. It is surprising that the phone even has a fingerprint reader mounted on the rear, which is claimed to unlock the device in 0.2 seconds. You can also use the Face Unlock feature to unlock your phone.
Fueling the whole thing is a 3,000 mAh battery, which is not bad considering its humble specifications. It doesn’t support any fast charging technology. Other notable features of this phone include a headphone jack, dual-SIM, Bluetooth 4.2, a micro-USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, FM Radio, and GPS.
