iQOO Pro 5G Sold Out in Just Seconds; Emerges As Top-Selling Phone in TMall

The iQOO Pro 5G went on sale for the first time and it sold out in just seconds. The handset was said to be the top-selling phone in TMall at the moment.

Chinese online retail website Tmall has released its iQOO Pro 8.23 Super New Products Daily Report. According to the report, the iQOO Pro 5G was its best-selling smartphone on the platform. The iQOO Pro is selling 445 percent higher than all other phones available on the website at the moment. A few days earlier, the handset was also announced by Suning to be sold out in just seconds.

iQOO Pro 5G: Price
The handset is retailed at CNY 3,798 (around Rs. 38,500) for the entry-level 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage model and CNY 3,998 (around Rs. 40,500) for the 8GB of RAM + 256GB of storage variant. There is also another model with 12GB of RAM + 128GB storage and it is priced at CNY 4,098 (around Rs. 41,500).
iQOO Pro 5G: Specifications
The iQOO Pro 5G sports a 6.41-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with 1,080 x 2,340p resolution. It is driven by a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

In terms of camera, there is a triple camera setup that includes a 48MP SonyIMX582 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 2MP depth-sensing unit. It is also equipped with a 12MP selfie camera on the front for selfies. Camera features are 2.5CM macro photography, AI Portrait, AI Scene 2.0, and more.
It is fueled by a 4,500 mAh battery with 44W Super FlashCharge support. Software-wise, it ships with Monster UI, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie to take care of the software side of things. Other notable features include Jovi Assistant with IoT, NFC support with Vivo Pay, Turbo Network Acceleration tech that allows users to connect to dual Wi-Fi connections. Finally, it is also packed with a headphone jack and an audio chip for Hi-Res audio.
