Vivo has officially launched its new gaming smartphone in China, called iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition. This is an upgraded version of the iQOO Neo 855 that was released in October. Other highlights of this phone include a liquid cooling system, up to 12GB RAM, 128GB of UFS 3.0 storage, and a Super AMOLED display with HDR10 support.
iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition: Price & Availability
Reportedly, users can pre-order the iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition in China from now and its official sale will take place on 12 December. The device will be available in colors including Iceland Aurora, Carbon Black, Light Mint. Its prices in China are as follows:
- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage - CNY 2,598 (about Rs. 26,300).
- 12 GB RAM + 128 GB storage - CNY 2,779 (about Rs. 28,100)
The brand hasn't mentioned anything about its launch in other markets.
iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition: Specifications & Features
The iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition has a Super AMOLED display with 6.38 inches in size, Full HD+ resolution, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 support. The phone uses a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor instead of the Snapdragon 855 like the iQOO Neo 855. It comes with either 8GB or 12 GB RAM with 128 GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. It does not support a microSD card slot.
In addition, Vivo has equipped the device with a triple rear camera system, including a 12 MP main sensor with f / 1.79 aperture, an 8 MP wide-angle sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. For selfies, it gets a 16 MP camera housed in the waterdrop notch on the front.
The remaining specifications of iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition include a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, a 10-layer cooling system including thermally conductive gel, liquid cooling, and heat pipes to keep the device’s internal temperature at a low level.
In addition, this phone will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box with FunTouch OS 9 user interface and supports connections such as dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Face Unlock feature.
