iQOO is about to release its next gaming-centric phone in China. Today, the brand confirmed the name of the phone to be iQOO 3, which will also arrive in India as well. The handset could even launch in India before heading to China. Recently, the Indian model of the phone with model number l1927 was spotted on Geekbench with 8GB RAM and possibly Snapdragon 865 SoC. Meanwhile, its Chinese version will carry model number V1955A, which has just visited Geekbench with 12GB RAM.

According to the Geekbench listing, the iQOO 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 SoC, which has the codename ‘kona’ and 1.80GHz base frequency. It is also listed with 12GB RAM and Android 10. Its benchmark scores are 899 points for the single-core test and 3,229 points for the multi-core test.
Not only Geekbench, but the iQOO 3 5G has also been seen on the TENAA database with the same model number. The listing shows that there could be three RAM configurations of the phone - 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB and two storage options - 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.

Other specifications of the iQOO 3 have also been listed on the TENAA database. First, it will carry a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution. Its cameras include a 16MP selfie camera on the front and four cameras at the back (64MP main sensor). However, the official poster of this phone reveals that it will carry a 48MP main sensor instead. Maybe there will be two models of the phone with 48MP and 64MP sensors. Other than that, the phone will support 55W fast charging standard, 60Hz refresh rate, and feature punch-hole display.

Even though 5G connectivity hasn’t been available in India, it seems iQOO will still release a 5G-enabled smartphone in the country. Several reports claimed that iQOO India will release two smartphones in India, one of which will be the iQOO 3 5G and the other is a 4G smartphone. Given the number of leaks and official information about the phone, we believe that it should be released very soon.
