iQOO 3 will debut in India on 25 February and the 5G model is tipped to be priced at below Rs. 45,000 while the 4G model might cost Rs. 35,000.

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is about to release the iQOO 3 5G in India on 25 February. Ahead of the official launch, the brand has revealed several key specs and features of the smartphone.

Now, a fresh report claims that the upcoming iQOO 3 5G will be offered at a price of below Rs. 45,000 in the Indian market while the 4G model will be priced at around Rs. 35,000. The two models are reported to be up for sale via Flipkart and offline stores across India.

Previously, iQOO was said to release its smartphones via online channels first and eventually sell them to offline channels. However, it seems like the brand has revised and changed its strategy.

According to the iQOO 3 5G’s listing on TENAA, it will sport a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED panel with a small cut-out to house a selfie camera. The display supports 2,400 x 1,080p resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. In terms of camera, there will be a 48MP quad-camera cluster at the back and a 16MP unit on the front.

At the helm, the phone will get power from a Snapdragon 865 chipset, aided by up to 12GB RAM. It was also said to be the first smartphone in the world to feature the latest UFS 3.1 storage tech. For software, it will likely be pre-installed with Android 10 out of the box. Fueling the phone is said to be a 4,440 mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging tech and it is claimed to refill the phone’s battery from 0 to 50 percent in 15 minutes.

As mentioned, iQOO will introduce the iQOO 3 in India and China at the same time, 25 February. For now, we can’t confirm whether the brand will release its 5G model in India as the 5G network hasn’t been available in the country.
