There have been many rumors that Apple will launch an iPhone without a notch, but no one thinks this big change will be applied to the upcoming iPhone 12. However, an iOS 14 code shows that Apple is likely to launch a notchless iPhone 12 Pro.

Svetapple has found a guide to inserting a SIM card inside the iOS 14 beta version. However, it is not how the SIM card is inserted that is worth noting, but the design image of the iPhone in this description and it shows a notchless iPhone. The top edge is about the same size as the bottom edge, creating a balanced and harmonious design.

Of course, there are many smartphones available on the market with no notch or punch-hole thanks to the pop-up selfie camera design. But it is safe to say that Apple will never apply that mechanism.
There have also been reports of Apple redesigning TrueDepth camera clusters (Face ID support), smaller and can be placed on a bezel, instead of needing a "giant" notch. Even so, we still can't confirm this news so you should take it with a grain of salt. However, you can expect that there is still a great belief that the iPhone 12 will have a lot of impressive changes.
Separately, Apple's biggest partners in India - Foxconn and Wistron have been forced to shut down several factories in India to comply with the Indian lockdown by the Indian government. This move will probably greatly affect the output of some older iPhone models in the near future. Foxconn and Wistron are currently the leading manufacturing and processing partners for major brands such as Apple. Although no companies have disclosed affected products, Foxconn and Wistron's factories in India are responsible for the production of older iPhone models such as iPhone 6s, iPhone 7 or iPhone SE or manufacturing the models aimed at the Indian market.
