Infinix Smart 3 Plus Launched In India With Triple Rear Camera Setup

The entry-level Infinix Smart 3 Plus just launched in the Indian market and it is the cheapest offering with a triple camera setup.

Hong Kong-based Infinix has just launched a new handset dubbed Infinix Smart 3 Plus in the India market. The phone was launched as the successor to the last year’s Smart 2, and it is the cheapest phone with a triple camera setup. Other highlights include a water-drop notched display, Android 9.0 Pie, a dedicated slot for a microSD card, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The handset is priced at Rs. 6,999 in the country and is offered in Sapphire Cyan and Midnight Black color variants with a glass unibody design. You can purchase the device via Flipkart from 30 April.
Infinix Smart 3 Plus: Specs & Features
The handset sports a nearly bezel-less display with 6.2 inches in size and HD+ (1,520 x 720p) resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Despite its Rs. 6,999 price tag, the handset comes with very thin bezels and a quite small chin at the bottom as well. Powering the handset is an entry-level MTK Helio A22 SoC with four cores alongside 2GB RAM + 32GB of storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot up to 256GB.
On the imaging front, the phone sports a triple camera system, including a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP secondary sensor, and a third low-light unit. The cameras are paired with a dual LED flash, PDAF, AR stickers, Auto Scene detection, and many modes such as AI HDR, AI Bokeh, Night, AI Beauty, Sports, and AI Portrait. Up front, there is an 8MP Selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI Stickers, and screen flash.
As for software, it ships with the latest Android 9.0 Pie with XOS 5 on top. Powering the handset is a 3,500mAh cell with no fast charging support. For security, there is a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear. It also supports the Facial Recognition feature for unlocking the phone.
