Infinix Hot 9 Unveiled With Great Specs For A Budget Smartphone

Infinix Hot 9 is unveiled with a quite impressive set of specifications and features for a smartphone positioned in the budget segment.

Infinix has just released the Infinix Hot 9 phone, succeeding the Inifnixh Hot 8 that launched last year. This new smartphone is positioned in the budget segment, but it still has the punch-hole display, which has mostly seen on mid-range and flagship smartphones only. Aside from that, it also has a triple camera setup placed in a rectangle-shaped camera cluster.

Infinix Hot 9: Price & Availability
The device is up for grabs in Indonesia in four color options: Ocean Wave, Quetzal Cyan, Midnight Black, and Violet. The Infinix Hot 9 price is set at around Rs. 7,900. For now, the brand hasn’t revealed its plan of bringing this phone to other markets.
Infinix Hot 9: Specifications & Features
The Infinix Hot 9 sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel of HD+ resolution and a punch-hole at the top left corner, which is where an 8MP is housed for taking selfies and video calls. The rear panel of this smartphone is made of polycarbonate. It is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader for security and a quad-camera cluster at the back for photography. The setup includes a 16MP primary camera with an f/1.8 lens, a 2MP low-light camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP dedicated macro camera.

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.8GHz. The official page of this smartphone hasn’t been available, so we can’t know for sure which chipset is powering this phone. While several publications have suggested that it is the Helio P35, while its listing on Lazada believes that it is the Helio A25. The handset is available in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is fueled by a whopping 5,000 mAh battery with no fast charging technology. Other features of the Infinix Hot 9 includes Android 10-based XOS 6, Face Unlock, Bluetooth, headphone jack, GPS, micro-USB port, Wi-Fi, and dual 4G VoLTE.
