The budget Infinix Hot 8 has just been announced in India with triple rear cameras, Helio P22, and more for just Rs. 7,999.

The Infinix Hot 8 has just made its debut in India. After teasing the phone for quite a while, the brand finally unveils the phone at a launch event in the Indian market. The handset arrives as the successor to the Infinix Hot 7 that launched last year in the budget segment. It comes with a beefy battery, an octa-core processor, a triple camera setup, and a display with an impressive aspect ratio of 20:9. In addition, the device also boasts a tall edge-to-edge panel with thin bezels and a dewdrop notch on top for housing a selfie camera.

Infinix Hot 8: Availability & Price

The Infinix Hot 8 will be available for sale from 12 p.m on 12 September as an exclusive deal on Flipkart. Its price will be set at Rs. 6,999 until 30 October as part of the introductory offer. After that, it will be priced at Rs. 7,999. The phone is available in a single memory configuration with 4GB of RAM / 64GB of storage and three color variants - Cosmic Purple, Midnight Black and Quetzal Cyan.

Infinix Hot 8: Specifications

Moving to the specifications, the handset sports a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a small water-drop notch on top. Ticking at its core is an Helio P22 octa-core chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM / 64GB of storage. Software-wise, it ships with Android 9 Pie out of the box with XOS 5.0 on top. In terms of camera, it boasts a triple camera setup at the back, including a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a dedicated low-light sensor. Meanwhile, on the front, there is an 8MP snapper for selfies and video chats.

The whole setup is fueled by a massive 5,000 mAh cell, which is supported by AI power management tool to increase its performance. At the back, it is equipped with a fingerprint reader for biometric security. Finally, the phone comes with standard connectivity options like Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, and an audio jack.
