As previously teased, Hong Kong-based phone maker Infinix has just added a new smartphone in its Infinix Hot series in India, the Infinix Hot 7. The handset is launched as the successor to the Infinix Hot 7 Pro that was announced in India last month. The Hot 7 comes with nearly the same design and features as the Honor 7 Pro. However, it has some upgrades over its predecessor such as a better processor. Both of the handsets sport four cameras in total – two at the back and two on the front. Both of them also feature an all-metal unibody design.

Infinix Hot 7: Price
The handset is retailed at Rs. 7,999 which is very aggressively considering what it offers on the table. The handset will go on sale via Flipkart from 15 July in three color options – Mocha Brown, Midnight Black, and Aqua Blue.
Infinix Hot 7: Specifications & Features
The handset sports a 6.19-inch HD+ screen with a relatively wide notch on the top. Powering the device is an Helio P25 octa-core processor which is slightly better than the Helio P22 on the Hot 7 Pro. Paired with the processor are 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which can be further expandable via a microSD card slot. In terms of software, it ships with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with the company’s XOS 5.0 on top. For biometric security, it is equipped with a fingerprint reader mounted at the back.

In terms of camera, it comes with a 13MP primary shooter with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP snapper on the front. At the back, it has a 13MP main snapper with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP camera. Both front and rear setups are coupled with a single LED flash. Its connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, GPS with GLONASS, 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, and Wi-Fi. Finally, it is fueled by a large 4,000 mAh battery under the hood.
