Huawei P40 Pro Shows Up On Geekbench With Key Specifications

Huawei P40 Pro shows up on the benchmarking platform Geekbench with key specs ahead of its official launch on 26th March.

Last month, the Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro bagged 3C certification with respective model numbers of ANA-AN00 / TN00 & ELS-AN00 / TN00. They have also been spotted on the TENAA database, but their listings didn’t reveal any details regarding their specs. The two smartphones are scheduled to make their debut on 26 March and ahead of the official launch, the Huawei P40 Pro has passed through the benchmark platform Geekbench, revealing key specs as usual.
The Huawei P40 Pro is listed on Geekbench with the model name Huawei ELS-NX9, which appears to be a different version of the phone in another country. The device managed 776 points in the single-core test while its score for the multi-core test is 3,182 points. As expected, the phone is powered by a Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin SoC with a base frequency of 1.95GHz, which is most likely the Kirin 990 5G processor. It is the same chipset that is used on the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro 5G that launched late last year.
The Geekbench listing of the Huawei P40 Pro also reveals that the phone packs 8GB of RAM, but it should come in several more variants at launch. To take care of the software side of things, it is pre-installed with Android 10, but there is a good chance it won’t have Google Mobile Services pre-loaded, which will be replaced by Huawei Mobile Services and the brand’s AppGallery. The official launch is getting close, so we expect their full specs should be up on TENAA soon.
Recently, a famous tipster revealed the price of the Huawei P40 series in Europe. The vanilla P40 was said to be priced from Euro 799 to 899 (around Rs. 66,000 to Rs. 74,300) while the P40 Pro will reportedly cost Euro 999 to 1,099 (around Rs. 82,600 to Rs. 90,800). Finally, the most premium P40 Pro PE is tipped to be offered at Euro 1,199 (around Rs. 99,100) and Euro 1,299 (around Rs. 1,07,300).
