Huawei P30 Tipped To Feature A Triple Rear Camera And A 24MP Selfie Camera

China-based Huawei surpassed the giant Apple to be the 2nd biggest smartphone vendor in the world for two consecutive quarters. Also, the Chinese company is expected to reach another target of shipping a total of 200 million smartphones in 2018. Having had great success with its flagship Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Huawei P20 Pro, the Chinese phone maker is reportedly working on a new phone series, the P30 series.

This new series most likely consists of a regular P30 model and a P30 Pro model, and there is a high possibility that they will be debuted either at the MWC 2019 in February or an event in March. Huawei is speculated to focus on their new phones’ camera quality over other features. The famous leakster Evan Blass suggests that the upcoming Huawei P30 is most likely another photography powerhouse from Huawei.

The handset is expected to come with a triple camera system on the rear, including a 40MP primary sensor with 5x lossless zoom. This year, the Chinese company packed a dual camera system on the back on its P20 and a triple rear camera system on its P20 Pro. In the upcoming year, the Chinese phone maker seems to be opting for an extra camera to the P20 series’ successors.

Olixar, which is a premium smartphone and tablet accessories, has already started taking Huawei’s orders to produce cases for them, which just suggested a possible vertically placed quad camera system. The fresh leak from Blass also claims that the upcoming Huawei P30 is expected to feature a triple rear camera system while the Huawei P30 Pro will most likely come with a quad rear camera setup. Furthermore, Blass also claims that there will be a 24MP selfie camera on the front of the P30, which might be the same as the one on the Mate 20 Pro.
