Huawei P30 Series Orders Are 10 Times Higher Than The P20's

The Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro has just launched over a day but they are showing their potential by breaking two massive records. The first record is obviously 112 points in DxOMark ranking and claims the first position. Now, the new Huawei P30 series has already been sold out and according to Tmall data, the number of people bought the phone is 10 times higher than that of the Huawei P20 series last year.

Interestingly, the record of last year was actually hold by the Huawei P20 series, but it now has to pass it to the newly-launched Huawei P30 by a massive margin. Additionally, the Huawei P30 Pro, which is the best-selling version, was out of stock in only five minutes.

However, it is worth noting that these stats are just released by a single Chinese retailer so when adding figures from all retailers, it might be a different case. However, this still clearly indicates that the Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro are still much more attractive than its predecessors.

Huawei P30 & Huawei P30 Pro: Prices

The single option of the P30 with 6GB of RAM/128GB of storage is priced at €799 (around Rs. 62,200). Meanwhile, Huawei offers a total of three options for the Huawei P30 Pro. All three configurations come with 8GB of RAM, and the difference will be the storage options. The variant with 128GB storage costs €999 (around Rs. 78,770), while the two models with 256GB / 512GB of internal storage are priced at €1,099 9 (around Rs. 85,851) and €1,249 (around Rs. 97,240), respectively. They will be up for sale in some markets from today. These two will come in a total of five colour variants which are Pearl White, Aurora Sunrise, Black, Breathing Crystal, and Aurora.

Huawei P30 & Huawei P30 Pro: Specs & Features

The two new Huawei flagships are built on a glass-sandwich design. On the front, they both sport an FHD+ AMOLED panel with a water-drop notch on top housing a selfie camera. While the display on the P30 is 6.1 inches in size, the P30 Pro comes with a larger 6.47-inch screen. As for the P30 Pro’s display, it also acts as the earpiece, and that means you can put your ear anywhere to hear. The company’s Acoustic technology can vibrate its display to produce sound.

Moving to the camera front, the P30 comes with a triple camera system at the back, including a 40 MP SuperSensing Sony IMX600 sensor with custom RYB color filter for better low-light photography. There are also a 16MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 lens, an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3X zoom, and a Leica branding below the camera module. The camera setup is paired with laser autofocus and a dual-LED flash. Up front, it comes with a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens.

As for the Huawei P30 Pro, it sports a quad camera system, including a 40MP SuperSpectrum sensor with an f/1.6 aperture. The main sensor is paired with a 20MP ultra-wide angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a ToF 3D camera. On the front, it also comes with a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture just like the Huawei P30. Both phones can capture videos at 4K resolution, and 60fps along with other camera features such as slow-mo, time-lapse, and dual-view mode that you can take both a zoom shot and an ultra-wide angle video.

Under the hood, they are both powered by the Huawei-made Kirin 980 SoC with support for dual-NPU for quicker image recognition. To ensure the P30 duo not to overheat, Huawei goes for a graphene film cooling system on both of them. As for software, the two run the latest Android 9.0 Pie with Huawei’s EMUI 9.1 on top.

Powering the P30 is a 3,650mAh cell while the P30 Pro packs a larger 4,250mAh battery with support for 40W SuperCharge fast charging standard. They are also included reverse wireless charging and 15W wireless charging. It is sad that Huawei doesn’t include its 55W fast charging tech on the two phones but opts for the 40W fast charging technology instead.
