Huawei P30 Pro Case Renders Show Quad Camera Setup Stacked Vertically

Case renders of the upcoming Huawei P30 Pro Case shows that the phone will have a quad camera setup stacked vertically and dual LED flash.

Huawei started to opt for a triple rear camera setup ahead of any other phone maker on its recent Huawei P20 Pro. However, Huawei won’t be the first one to release a smartphone featuring a quad rear camera setup. The upcoming P20 Pro’s successor, the Huawei P30 Pro, will most likely sport a quad camera system.

Huawei P30 Pro Case Renders Leak

As shown by case renders, the P30 Pro will have four cameras stacked vertically. It also shows that at the back of the phone, there will be a large cut-out in the upper left corner accommodating the four cameras. The four cameras will be placed vertically, which is different from the camera placement on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. It also appears that there won’t be a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device and the dual LED flash will be located on the right side of the camera setup.

Huawei Mate 20 Pro's camera setup

You can clearly see that Huawei opted for a very tall and vertically stacked quad camera system, which is similar to the camera placement on the Samsung Galaxy A9. The case listings on Olixar, which is a premium manufacturer of gadgets and accessories, reveal that the LED flash will be located right beside the cameras and as there is no cut-out for the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, the Huawei P30 Pro may have an on-screen fingerprint reader similar to the one on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

The case renders also gives away the fact that there will be a water-drop notch on the P30 Pro’s display. Reports also indicate the P30 Pro’s design are mostly based on the ones on the Oppo R17, and it is likely that the upcoming Huawei handset will feature an in-display camera just like the Huawei Nova 4. That all we know for now, and there should be more leaks and renders dropping in the upcoming weeks.
