Huawei P30 lineup is currently available for several color options with impressive gradient shades. However, it seems that the brand is planning to another color variant to the lineup with a mid-cycle color refresh. According to EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office), the Chinese tech giant has registered 2 more color options for its P30 series. One of which has an amazing dual-tone finish known as Panda White found in the Google Pixel 3 XL phone. The remaining one has a gradient finish like usual but with a Blue to Purple gradient.
After the company filed the patent in May, it was only granted several days ago. This means the new color variants will be coming soon. It is likely that the brand will introduce them at IFA 2019 during the Mate 30 series conference. But it is worth noticing it is the first time that Huawei features dual-tone finish for its P lineup. Both new shades comprising of gradient Breathing Crystal come with the dual-tone finish. Accordingly, the back’s uppermost part seems to be a separate panel.
In the meantime, Huawei has announced to introduce its Kirin 990 chipset at IFA 2019 on 6 September. In addition, rumor has it that Kirin 985 chipset without 5G support could be introduced as well. Meanwhile, the official renders of Huawei Mate 30 lineup have already appeared, which gives a glimpse of the upcoming Mate 30 Pro’s design. The phone is said to feature a big notch on the front. And on the rear panel, the device will have a circular quad-camera setup with a toned color striped running around it. Particularly, the setup allegedly has two 40MP sensors, an 8MP telephoto sensor, and a 3D Time-of-Flight sensor. The series will officially debut on 19 September. So ahead of the launch, let’s stay tuned for more updates about the phone in the upcoming.
