The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) database recently had quite an interesting addition. A new smartphone model number, MAR-LX1M, registered under Huawei was officially certified.

Huawei P30 Lite: Specifications
Users on Chinese social network Weibo had shared some new details about the upcoming device, including the water-drop notched display. The panel of the P30 Lite, considering the fact that its screen is similar to that of the P30, a 6-inch FHD+ LCD display. Though we have yet to know the specifics, it is likely to pack a Huawei’s new Kirin 710 SoC.

Draft pictures of phone cases supposedly made for the P30 Lite have also been released. Conveniently, it also tells us quite a lot about the backside of the device.

The circular cut-out in the back indicates that a fingerprint sensor will still make a presence on the phone. Most interestingly, the elongated cutout for the camera module confirmed that the P30 Lite will come with a triple-lens camera. Speaking about the cameras, tippers are saying that the three sensors are respectively 20MP, 16MP, and 2MP. Huawei has been distinguishing itself in the phone market for the excellent quality of its cameras. Cutouts for a headphone jack, external speaker and a USB Type-C port are also spotted on the side of the leaked case.
Information is going out that Huawei is preparing for the launch of another model with a triple-lens camera. But that’s all we know, for now, we don’t even have a name for this mysterious device.
Release Date
The Huawei P30 Lite is expected to be launched before the P30 and P30 Pro. We have no exact schedule, but most of us believe that March 2019 is a reasonable time. Some markets may welcome the P30 Lite under a different name, Huawei Nova 4e.
Pricing for the device has yet to be released.
