The upcoming Huawei P30 Pro has recently appeared on Geekbench with Kirin 980 SoC produced on the 7nm process. The vanilla P30 smartphone has also been spotted on the benchmark with the same SoC.
Huawei P30 Variant With 6GB RAM Spotted On Geekbench Benchmark
The P30 variant has been spotted on Geekbench with the ELE-L29 codename. And the device is powered by the latest flagship chipset of Huawei, Kirin 980 SoC. Regarding the performance, the smartphone succeeded in its performance, which is a bit better than the Huawei P30 Pro. It gained 3,296 scores and 9,900 scores in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. Meanwhile, the Pro variant achieved 3,289 scores and 9,817 scores in the same tests. Although the P30 had a bit better performance than its Pro variant, the device has been still a bit behind those powered by other 8nm or 7nm flagship chipsets. Regarding the software, the listing on Geekbench clearly shows that the handset will run the latest Android 9 Pie at launch.
The Huawei P30 series is set to be unveiled in Paris on 26 March. Alongside the P30 series, the Chinese tech giant will probably introduce another P30 variant called the Huawei P30 Lite. This device is set to launch in the Chinese market same as the Huawei Nova 4e later today. According to the NCC certification agency, the P30 smartphone will be available in two memory configurations: 6GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage. The P30 Pro smartphone will come in 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage options. Both devices can be expandable up to 256GB. As for the photography capability, the Pro model will sport four rear cameras with lossless zoom technology while the P30 will only feature three rear cameras.
