Huawei P Smart Z is now offcial with a Kirin 710 SoC, dual cameras, and Android 9 Pie.

After many rumors and leaks, Chinese mobile phone maker Huawei finally unveiled the Huawei P Smart Z. As rumored, it is the first phone from Huawei to come with a pop-up selfie camera and a similar two-tone design at its rear panel to the original Google Pixel smartphones.

Highlights of this phone include a 6.59-inch FHD+ LCD panel, Kirin 710 SoC, and 4GB of RAM. Until now, the phone is only listed on Huawei’s Italy and Spain. We are also expect another Huawei phone with a pop-up selfie camera and it might be called Huawei Y9 Prime. For now, these two are the only two smartphones from Huawei we have known to come with the new selfie camera design.

The availability and price of the Huawei P Smart Z haven’t confirmed yet. However, the listing on Amazon Italy suggests that it might come with a price of €279 (roughly Rs. 21,700). It will come in three color variants, including Green, Blue, and Black. Since the phone is already listed on Huawei Italy and Spain website, it should go on sale in the upcoming time.

The handset comes with a 6.59-inch FHD+ panel with 2,340 x 1,080p resolution and a pixel density of 391 PPI. There is a Kirin 710 SoC ticking at its core paired with 4GB RAM / 64GB of storage. For software, it runs the latest Android 9 Pie with Huawei’s EMUI 9 on top. For security, it features a fingerprint reader mounted on the rear for biometric authentication.

In the camera front, the handset sports a dual camera cluster at the back, including a 16MP primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Up front, it has a 16MP pop-up camera handling selfie duties. Powering the Huawei P Smart Z is a large 4,000 mAh battery. Lastly, the phone measures 7.3x163.5x8.8 mm and weighs 196.8g.
