The Huawei P Smart Z, which is said to be the first phone from Huawei to come with a pop-up camera, has been featured on quite a few leaks in the last few months. The handset was event listed on Amazon.it with its specs and price. Now, the phone was spotted on popular benchmarking site Geekbench which hints imminent launch.

The handset was listed on Geekbench with two model numbers, including STK-LX1 and STK-LX3. However, both handsets seem to come with similar specifications. The two listings reveal that the upcoming Huawei P Smart Z will run on an octa-core processor clocked up to 1.7GHz paired with 4GB of RAM. Other notable features include Android 9 Pie. The variant with model number STK-LX1 achieved 1,543 points on the single-core test and 5,480 points on the multi-core test. On the other hand, the Huawei STK-LX3 scores 1,544 points in the single-core test and 5,558 points in the multi-core test.

As mentioned, there have been a handful of leaks relating to the Huawei P Smart Z and they give us a good understanding of what to expect. The handset will reportedly feature a two-tone design, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a dual rear camera system which includes a 16MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 2MP unit with f/2.4 lens.

On the front, it will come with a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture while the rear houses a 16MP camera with f/1.8 aperture and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It is also tipped to sport a 6.59-inch FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Powering the phone will likely be a 4,000 mAh battery. Lastly, it will reportedly have 64GB of internal storage.
For pricing, the phone is said to be priced at €210 (around Rs. 16,300), but its listing on Amazon suggests that the handset will come with a price of €279 (around Rs. 21,700).
Apart from the P Smart Z, Huawei is reportedly working on another device with a pop-up camera which might be called Huawei Y9 Prime 2019. The handset was recently suggested to come with a pop-up selfie camera and triple rear cameras.
