Last month, Huawei launched three new smartphones in its Huawei Nova series, including Huawei Nova 5i, Huawei Nova 5, and Huawei Nova 5 Pro. Later, the Nova 5i was said to be offered in a Pro model with the model number SPN-AL00-TL00, and it was recently listed on China’s TENAA with full specs revealed. Interestingly, this model number is also said to belong to the Mate 30 Lite which will be in the Mate 30 series set to launch later this year.
According to the listing on TENAA, the Huawei SPN-AL00 has dimensions of 156.1 x 73.9 x 8.3mm. Its display is a 6.26-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ (1,080 x 2,340) resolution. Powering the phone is a 2.2GHz octa-core processor paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage.
In terms of camera, it will likely sport a quad rear camera system with a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP snapper, & two 2MP sensors. On the front, there will be a 32MP shooter for selfies and video chats. Software-wise, it is listed to boot Android 9 Pie with Huawei’s EMUI on top.
As for the Huawei SPN-TL00, it has the same specs and dimensions as the above model. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any photos of the handset uploaded yet, so we still can’t get a good look at its design. We believe that its images should be up very soon.
As for the previous leaks, the forthcoming Huawei Nova 5i Pro is tipped to have a similar square camera setup to the Huawei Mate 20 phones. It was seen in a schematic leaked by popular tipster Evan Blass after the Huawei Nova 5 series announced.
The schematic also shows that the phone will feature a punch hole display just like its sibling Huawei Nova 5i. Finally, the handset is tipped to make its appearance in August which is only one month away.
