Huawei Nova 5i Pro Announced With Kirin 810 SoC & Quad Rear Cameras

After launching the Huawei Nova 5i, Nova 5, and Nova 5 Pro, Huawei unveils one more addition in the series dubbed the Huawei Nova 5i Pro with Kirin 810 SoC & quad rear cameras.

After many leaks and rumors, the Chinese giant Huawei finally announced the Huawei Nova 5i Pro in its home market China. The handset also comes with a quad-camera setup just like its siblings in the series. It is a slightly upgraded model of the Nova 5i, that launched last month alongside the Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5. Other highlights include a hole-punch display and Kirin 810 SoC, which is recently announced by Huawei.

Nova 5i Pro: Price & Availability

The handset is available in three models in the Chinese market. The entry-level variant with 6GB of RAM / 128GB of storage is priced at CNY 2,199 (around Rs. 22,000), whereas the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage is retailed at CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 25,000). Finally, the top-end option with 8GB of RAM / 256GB of storage carries a price tag of CNY 2,799 (around Rs. 28,000). It will be available for sale in the country from 2 August.

It is offered in three color options - Emerald Green, Aurora, and Midnight Black.

Huawei Nova 5i Pro: Specs & Features

The handset features a 6.26-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a punch hole on top for the selfie camera. Powering the phone is still the Kirin 810 octa-core processor that is launched recently. Paired with the processor are 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot.

In terms of camera, its quad-camera setup includes a 48MP main RGB camera, an 8MP camera with a wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP dedicated macro lens. On the front, there is a 32MP camera for selfies and video chats.

Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and an audio jack. Fueling the whole setup is a large 4,000mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging solution. Software-wise, it boots Android 9 Pie with Huawei's EMUI 9.1 on top.
