Huawei has already scheduled a release event on 17 December where the company will be introducing its Nova 4. The unique selling point of this new handset is that it features a unique display that has a hole on its top left corner. Huawei claims that this design will enable the Nova 4 to have a screen-to-body ratio of about 95 percent.
Recent leaks have almost confirmed the device’s front design, but the rear design still remains a mystery. New pictures of the Nova 4 have just posted on ITHome, which reveal amazing display design of the device as well as confirm the device to feature triple rear camera setup.
The Nova 4’s display is surrounded by very slim bezels, except for slight thicker bottom bezel. The glass of this handset comes with a gradient colour appeal. The aforementioned triple rear camera system and an LED flash are located on the top left corner of its back while the fingerprint sensor is placed on the Nova 4’s backside.
The Huawei Nova 4 is speculated to feature a massive 6.4-inch display. Though, the specifications of this device along with the triple rear camera setup’s configurations are still kept secret. It’s rumored that the Huawei phone might feature either a Kirin 710 or 980 SoC.
Huawei's subsidiary smartphone brand, Honor, also set to release a smartphone with in-display camera called Honor View20 on 22 January. The phone is expected to come with a Kirin 980 SoC and Full-HD+ display.
Meanwhile, it is confirmed that Samsung will release its Galaxy A8s with triple camera setup on the rear along with an in-display camera design on 10 December in the Chinese market. The phone will sport a Snapdragon 710 SoC. These listed features may indicate that the Galaxy A8s will be a major competitor of the Huawei Nova 4. However, the pricing for both of these phones is still not yet revealed.
