Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite Launched In India: 10.1" Display & 7,500mAh Battery

In September 2019, Chinese giant Huawei released the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite in India. The tablet arrived with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Now, the brand has just released a new tablet model called Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite 10 in the country and it is an upgraded version of the MediaPad M5 Lite. It features a large 10.1 ClariVu 5.0 screen with Eye-comfort mode and a massive 7,500mAh battery with support for Huawei QuickCharge standard.

The tablet is priced at Rs. 22,990 in India for a sole variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is also available in only one color variant - Space Grey. The brand will release the device from 6 March via Croma, Flipkart, and multiple retail stores across India.

The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite comes with a 10.1-inch display with FHD+ (1,900 x 1,200p) resolution and a 2.5D curved glass. Powering the device is a Kirin 659 octa-core chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable using a microSD card up to 512GB). It ships with Android 8 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 at launch to take care of the software side of things. It has dimensions of 234.4 x 162.2 x 7.7 mm and weighs 475g. 

For photography, it gets an 8MP camera at the back and an 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. For security, there is a fingerprint reader mounted on the rear. Powering the whole package is a 7,500 mAh battery that supports 18W quick charging technology. Finally, its connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS, USB-C port, Bluetooth 4.2, and 4G LTE.
