Huawei Mate 30 lineup is scheduled to debut on 19 September. While most customers eager to purchase the phone probably concern its pricing, specs, and features, Huawei has teased another special version of this phone, centered around high-end build material, and design. The device is said to be Huawei Mate 30 RS Porsche Design, which was officially announced in the aforementioned teaser.
Not much information about the design of the flagship, however, is shown in the video. As you can see, the teaser showed various vertical visual elements, which suggests that this unique version will come with vertical stripes of several forms on the rear. Also, there is a center-aligned thin strip which you can see in the end, suggesting even if the placement of the camera on the vanilla version is different, this special version would come with a differently-placed rear camera module.
Regarding the specs list leaked, the Mate 30 Pro phone will have a new-gen HiSilicon Kirin 990 chipset as expected. In addition, the phone is expected to have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device allegedly flaunts a Full HD+ display with the size of between 6.6 – 6.8-inches, a screen refresh rate of 60Hz, a notch for housing two selfie camera at the head, and a 3D ToF depth sensor.
Additionally, the handset will come with four cameras on the back including a 48MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.6, a 40MP wide sensor with an f/1.155 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto sensor, along with a ToF sensor. They are all supported by a Xenon flash with a color temperature sensor to offer natural illumination to objects in the low-light environments. On the front, the phone has a 32MP selfie camera, coupled with a depth sensor and an ultra-wide angle sensor which will presumably be used for the company’s Face ID 2.0 tech. Powering the handset is a 4,500 mAh battery with the 30W wireless quick charging and the 40W wired charging tech. Also, there is a down-firing speaker and an on-screen earpiece in the audio department.
While the Huawei Mate 30 RS Porche Design is probably different in the design, overall specs are expected to be identical to the regular variants. Other information will be revealed when the company launches its new Mate 30 series.
