The leaked Huawei Mate 30 retail box image reveals the standard variant would start at 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

Huawei Mate 30 lineup is set to be unveiled on 19 September, and several leaks have surfaced online for a while, which suggests most of the phone’s specifications. Recently, the full specs of Huawei Mate 30 Pro appeared, which reveals the device would be powered by a Kirin 990 5G chipset, run Android 10 without the access to Google apps, and a 4,500 mAh cell. Now, alleged photos of the base Mate 30 retail box were spotted on Weibo, suggesting that the model would come with 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage. In terms of imaging capabilities, the phone use Leica sensors for its camera module.

In addition, the regular Mate 30’s front panel leaked has a notch that seems to be smaller than the one on the Pro variant. It probably has enough space for dual selfie shooters. In addition, the phone could feature thin bezels on all sides, and there is a relatively thinner chin at the bottom The phone is tipped to flaunt a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a screen refresh rate of 60 Hz. Additionally, the flagship will be powered by a Kirin 990 5G chipset under the hood. Furthermore, the phone will be available in two memory options including 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variants. The Pro model is also tipped to feature an under-screen earpiece, enhanced Huawei Face ID 2.0, an on-screen fingerprint scanner for biometric security, and bottom-firing mono speakers. Powering the phone is a 4,500 mAh cell with the 27W SuperWireless Charge and 40W SuperCharge fast charging support.
