The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has just gone through the camera test by DxOMark and the report has just been released by the organization. According to the report, the Mate 30 Pro 5G is the best camera phone in the world. Interestingly, Huawei now claims the top two positions on the DxOMark list, with the Mate 30 Pro taking the second position. Meanwhile, the 5G version got a score of 123 points in the camera test. According to DxOMark, the Mate 30 Pro 5G had an improvement in the photo department, and that is why it can get such a high camera score. In the photo test, it got a score of 134 points, which is by far the highest on any smartphone.

The report says that the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G offers good exposure and a wide dynamic range. The Mate 30 Pro & Mate 30 Pro 5G deliver similar photo quality and performance. However, you can still see slight differences in features like Zoom, Night Photography, and Portrait mode. Surprisingly, the ultra-wide shooter on the 5G version actually performs slightly worse than the one on the standard model.
The company has enhanced the anti-distortion on the phone’s wide-angle camera, but doing so leads to a reduced field of view. It also improves the zoom feature on the phone, with better details and autofocus. However, the periscope camera system on the Huawei P30 Pro still delivers better details when long-range zoom compared to that of the Mate 30 Pro 5G. Next, flash portraits are improved slightly with sharper details and less noise. The Mate 30 Pro 5G also has better Night Mode than the vanilla version and better dynamic range as well.

DxOMark also states that the handset delivers more natural colors with better saturation and white balance. Moving to the video department, the handset is said to come with improvements in the video quality. That helps the phone get 102 points in the video store, which is also the highest on the DxOMark list.
