Chinese phone maker Huawei is planning to launch a new addition to its affordable Huawei Enjoy series. As per the leaked photo, the upcoming Huawei Enjoy 9s will sport an AI-backed triple camera setup on the rear, with the primary camera being 24MP and a wide-angle camera. The Huawei Enjoy 9s is said to be the most powerful smartphone in the Enjoy series, surpassing the Huawei Enjoy 9 and Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus. To recall, the Huawei Enjoy 9s’ predecessor, Enjoy 9, was launched nearly a year ago, in May 2019.

The leaked picture reveals that the handset will come with a 6.21-inch display with a water-drop notch on top. It will have up to 128GB of internal storage and run Huawei’s EMUI 9 which suggests that the upcoming Huawei handset will come with Android 9.0. It will make the Enjoy 9s become the first Huawei phone in its affordable mobile portfolio to have the latest Android OS at launch.
Other specifications remain unknown for now, but we believe that it will be powered by a Huawei’s Kirin 710 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM. In terms of display resolution, we hope that it will come with an FHD+ resolution. There will likely be a large battery along with a USB Type-C port. And of course, everyone wants an affordable phone to come with support for fast charging standard, but for now, none of the Huawei cheap smartphones comes with support for SuperCharge.
To recall, the Enjoy 9s’ predecessor, Enjoy 9, sports a 6.21-inch HD+ panel with a resolution of 1,520 x 720p. It also has a water-drop on top of the display and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. In the imaging department, the Enjoy 9 features a dual rear camera system, including a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. Up front, there is an 8MP camera housing on the notch for taking selfies and video calling.
