The Chinese giant will introduce the Huawei Enjoy 9E and Huawei Enjoy 9S along with a tablet dubbed MediaPad M5 Youth Edition in the upcoming week. Now, ahead of launch, the press renders and specs sheet of the Enjoy 9S.
Huawei Enjoy 9S: Specs & Features
You can see in the leaked renders that the Enjoy 9S will sport a water-drop notch on the front which accommodates the front camera. At the bottom, it comes with a slightly thick chin. On the rear, it comes with triple rear cameras and a round-shaped fingerprint scanner. The handset seems to have nearly the same look as the Huawei P Smart+ (2019) that was launched in early March. Additionally, the handset is actually rumored to be the re-branded variant of the P Smart + (2019).
Besides the design, the phone will also come with pretty much the same hardware specs as on the P Smart+ (2019). Up front, it is said to sport a 6.21-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 2,340 x 1,080 resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Powering the phone will likely be an octa-core Kirin 710 SoC built on the 12nm process. It will also pack 4GB RAM/64GB or 128GB of storage.
On the imaging front, the handset will have triple rear cameras which are a 24MP main sensor, a 16MP secondary wide-angle camera, and a 2MP third sensor for depth sensing. Up front, there will be a single 8MP selfie camera. Even though the cameras may not have impressive resolutions, they are said to have better AI-supported beautification features. As for the battery, it will be powered by a 3,400mAh cell. Lastly, it is expected to run the latest Android 9.0 Pie at launch with Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 on top.
