The new budget smartphone, Realme C2, features a large 6.1-inch screen with HD+ resolution, a waterdrop notch on the top and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display also has the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective layer. The phone measures 154.3 x 73.7 x 8.5 mm.
Under the hood, the handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset. The phone comes in two different variants including a 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage and a 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage. It is said that the storage of the phone can be expandable up to 256GB. In addition, it is equipped with a big 4000 mAh battery.
Additionally, the phone runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie at launch. It also features a fingerprint sensor on the back.
And the device's connectivity options comprise of an audio jack, Micro USB, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, Wifi, and 4G VoLTE. Currently, the base variant with 2GB RAM + 16GB storage is priced at Rs.5,999 while the 3G RAM + 32GB storage costs Rs. 7,999.
Besides, one of the highlights of this smartphone is its dual AI camera setup including a 13MP sensor and a 2MP sensor. On the front, the device features a 5MP sensor for taking selfies and video calling.
On the Realme C2, the company also introduced a new photography feature called Chroma Boost. This mode makes images brighter and more vivid when both color and contrast are enhanced.
Of course, the ability to capture photos with bokeh effect on Realme C2 is also worth mentioning. With dual AI camera cluster, the Realme C2 can offer an impressive imaging output with bokeh effect. The background of the photos is incredibly blurred with high quality.
