Honor X10 will be Huawei's next mid-range smartphone with its new chipset, large display, and 5G support for a speculated starting price of around Rs. 11,000.

According to a previous report, the next offering in the Honor X series will be called Honor X10, not Honor 10X as people had expected. Yesterday, Honor President Zhao Ming confirmed on his Weibo page that the brand will indeed use the Honor X10 for its upcoming 5G smartphone. Now, the handset has passed through TENAA along with most of its specs.

Thanks to the TENAA and MIIT listings, we have a lot of details on the upcoming Honor X10, including design, specs, and dimensions. The Honor X10 specs will include a Kirin 820 5G SoC, which is Huawei’s latest chipset that was released on 30th March. The front panel of the phone is wrapped by a 6.63-inch IPS LCD panel of FHD+ resolution. At the back, it gets a quad-camera lens system, but the specs of the cameras are not yet revealed. The device measures 163.7 x 76.5 x 8.8 mm and packs a 4,200 mAh battery under the hood with support for 22.5W fast charging technology.

As for design, the device seems to come with a pop-up selfie camera since we can’t see a notch or punch-hole at the top of the display. We can see that there are a volume rocker and a power button mounted with a fingerprint reader on the right side of the phone. Around the back, the whole camera setup is placed inside a rectangular camera module along with a LED flash. The words right below the camera housing suggest the presence of an RYYB sensor on the Honor X10.

The Honor X10 will obviously arrive as a direct successor to last year’s Honor 9X and should be offered at the same price as its predecessor, which is around CNY 1,000 ~ Rs. 10,800.
