As the release date of the upcoming Honor View20 aka V20 in China is getting really close which is 26 December, new teasers have started to come in as well. Recently, the Huawei’s sub-brand Honor had posted several camera samples of its smartphone with 48MP Sony IMX586 lens, and now, they just dropped another teaser giving more details on the smartphone’s specification.
Previous teasers already suggested that this upcoming Honor handset will feature a nearly bezel-less design with a small display hole at its top left corner. The latest teaser hints that there will be a massive 4,000 mAh battery powering the Honor V20 and the device will have support for 22.5W fast charging tech, according to China’s 3C listing. Also, this Honor smartphone will likely come in three colour options.
Moreover, this device is speculated to sport a 25MP front-facing camera and a 48MP camera on the rear. Link Turbo feature is one of the key specifications of this handset as it’s an AI-powered feature which is claimed to combine the Wi-Fi and LTE signals and give out better internet connectivity. Honor introduced this Ai-powered feature during the release event of its Honor Magic 2 earlier in the year. Recently, there was also a video surfaced on Weibo, showing the same feature of the Honor View20 in action, confirming the device to have that feature.
The Chinese company also touts the Honor V20’s high screen-to-body ratio, but it hasn’t revealed the exact percentage yet. 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor on the rear should be the specifications that catch the most attention from the consumers. The camera also has some features such as a 1/2.0-inch CMOS sensor, four times sensor HDR, certain AI prowess and also 4-in-1 Light Fusion. The device will most likely come with a 7nm Kirin 980 SoC, and it's also expected to have the GPU Turbo gaming tech.
After launching the device in the Chinese market, Honor is set to release the Honor V20 on 22 January on an even in Paris in the name of Honor View20.
