As expected, Honor has just launched two new smartphones aimed at young users, including Honor Play 4T and Honor Play 4T Pro. Both phones have powerful hardware configurations, beautifully designed and come with an affordable price of only CNY 1,199 (around Rs. 13,000).

Honor Play 4T
Starting with Honor Play 4T, this smartphone is equipped with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution (720 x 1560 pixels), 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. It has a punch-hole display, with a cut-out at the top left corner to accommodate an 8MP selfie camera.

The phone is powered by Kirin 710A processor, combined with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Besides, the device also supports expanding the storage capacity via a microSD card slot up to 512GB.
Moving to the back, Honor Play 4T features a vertically-arranged dual-camera system, including a 48MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. In addition, the back of the handset is also where the fingerprint sensor is located.

The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery but does not support fast charging. It also gets an out-dated micro-USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom. In addition, the device supports 2 SIMs and comes pre-installed with Android 10 with Magic UI 3.1 interface on top.
Regarding the price, Honor Play 4T is currently sold in China in two colors Blue and Black at a retail price of CNY 1,199 (around Rs. 13,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version.
Honor Play 4T Pro
As for the Honor Play 4T Pro, this smartphone has somewhat more advanced specs than its sibling. It still has a 6.3-inch screen but uses an AMOLED panel with a water-drop design, Full-HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels), and a 20: 9 aspect ratio. It is interesting that the more premium model in the series actually features the more conventional water-drop notch design while the vanilla version gets a punch-hole display, which I believe to be more premium.

Honor Play 4T Pro is equipped with Kirin 810 processor which is more powerful than Kirin 710A on the standard model. It comes in two variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. This phone also allows users to expand its storage capacity, but you have to use Huawei's proprietary NM memory card.
In terms of photography, the Honor Play 4T Pro is added with an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, while the other two cameras are still the 48MP main sensor and 2MP depth sensor. In addition, it also has a higher-resolution 16MP selfie camera on the front and has an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security.
Honor Play 4T Pro draws power from a 4,000mAh battery, supporting 22.5W fast charging via a USB-C port. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi ac and comes pre-installed with Android 10 with Magic UI 2.1 interface at launch.

In terms of price, the Honor Play 4T Pro is currently sold in China with a starting price of CNY 1,499 (around Rs.16,200) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB UFS 2.1 storage version, while the top-end version with 8GB of RAM + 128GB of UFS 2.1 memory has a retail price of CNY 1,699 (around Rs. 18,400). The device has three color options: Black, Blue, and Green.
Honor Play 4T price: around Rs. 13,000
