Honor has officially teased its Honor 20 Lite/Youth Edition in China, which suggests the upcoming launch of the phone. Zhao Ming, President of Honor, also revealed that the phone will belong to the affordable range and have special design for female customers. The upcoming phone is the successor to the 10 Lite launched back in November last year. Unfortunately, the president did not tell anything about the hardware specs of the phone. However, according to a TENAA listing, the handset will have LRA-AL00 model number. Additionally, the listing also revealed that the device could be 172.5g in weight and measure 157.2x73.2x7.65mm.

The mid-range phone allegedly flaunts a 6.3-inch display with Full HD+ (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) resolution and a dewdrop notch to house a selfie camera. Under the hood is an octa-core chipset clocked at 2.2 GHz, paired with 8GB RAM + 256GB expandable storage. In terms of software, the phone will run EMUI based on Android 9 Pie at launch. Regarding the imaging capabilities, the phone is expected to sport a triple rear camera module including a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

On the front, the upcoming phone will come with a 16MP camera for taking selfies. Powering the phone is a 4,000 mAh cell with a 3,900 minimum capacity. Additionally, according to the 3C certification from China, the phone could have the support for 20W fast charging tech. In addition, the phone will arrive in green and black colors. However, the handset could have more color options. So far, the certain release date remains unknown, but as the executive already teased the handset, the release could just be around the corner. Honor is tipped to hold an event by the end of this month to introduce the Honor V30. Probably, the Honor 20 Youth Edition/Lite could debut on this event as well.
