Honor Launched Honor 20i With Triple Rear Cameras In China

Honor 20i was just launched in the Chinese market with a triple camera setup on the rear, 32MP AI selfie camera, and a mid-range Kirin 710 SoC.

Before launching the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro in the upcoming month, Honor just launched the Honor 20i in the Chinese market. The phone is launched in the budget segment as a upgraded model of the Honor 10i or also known as Honor 10 Lite that was launched last year. The highlights of this phone include a mid-range chipset, a triple camera setup, and a nearly bezel-less screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent.
Honor 20i: Price & Availability

The handset costs CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,500) for the variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage while the model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at the same CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,500). The two top-end variants with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 256GB storage are priced at CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 19,600) and CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs. 22,700), respectively. They will be offered in three colour options which are Gradient Blue, Magic Night Black, and Gradient Red and will be up for sale from 18th April.
Honor is expected to launch a limited edition of the handset with 6GB of RAM and 256GB storage for the CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs. 22,700) in the next month.
For now, there hasn’t been any word about its launch dates in other markets including India.
Honor 20i: Specs & Features
The handset sports a 6.21-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 and a water-drop notch on top. With a small notch at the top, the phone has an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. Powering the device is Huawei-made Kirin 710 SoC with up to 6GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD slot up to 512GB.
In terms of camera, it sports a 32MP AI selfie camera up front. The triple rear camera setup includes a 24MP main shooter with an aperture of f/1.8, a secondary 8MP wide-angle camera, and a third 2MP depth sensor. The cameras are further supported by some modes such as night scene mode, professional camera, portrait mode, panorama, AI beauty, and more. As for software, it ships with the latest Android 9.0 Pie with Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 at launch.

Keeping the phone running is a 3,400mAh cell with 10W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, a microUSB port, a headphone jack, GPS, and Wi-Fi. For security, there is a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear.
