The Honor 9X Pro is one of the many smartphones that have arrived in India after the lockdown has eased up. The handset is the first phone launched in the country without Google Mobile services, replaced by the brand’s proprietary AppGallery.
Honor 9X Pro: Price & Availability
You can now start registering for the Honor 9X Pro and those who do that will be able to join in an early bird sale. The price of this phone will be Rs. 17,999 for its single variant while the sale price will be lowered to Rs. 14,999.
Honor 9X Pro: Specifications & Features
Early this year, the brand has released the Honor 9X and now the Pro model has finally come out. The device sports a 6.59-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a Kirin 810 chipset, paired with an ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. Not just that, Honor also packs it with the new GPU Turbo 3.0 and liquid cooling tech for better performance and better thermals during gaming sessions.
Honor is the sub-brand of Huawei and that means this new phone doesn’t have Google Mobile services pre-installed. Instead, it comes with vanilla Android OS and Huawei’s AppGallaery. The phone is available in a single memory variant with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. Inside, it packs a 4,000 mAh battery that only supports standard 10W charging technology. That seems a bit weird since even the much-more affordable Redmi Note 9 Pro supports 18W fast charging.
In the imaging department, the device gets triple cameras at the back, including a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera for portrait shots. Moving to the front, Honor uses a 16MP sensor placed on a pop-up module for selfies and video calls. Connectivity-wise, it supports 4G LTE, headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and Dual SIM slots.
