Honor is reportedly working on a successor to the Honor 8X that launched last year. The Huawei’s sub-brand is said to be going to announce two new smartphones allegedly dubbed Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro. While the Honor 9X already got certification from Eurasian, the Honor 9X Pro made its appearance on China’s 3C website. Now, a leaked sheet with full specs of the upcoming Honor 9X Pro has just surfaced online, and it suggests that the handset will be a powerful offering in the mid-range segment.
The leak is from a tipster on Twitter, and he claims that the Honor 9X Pro might sport a 6.5 to 6.7-inch display. In addition, the phone will come with an LCD panel, a punch hole on top of it for a selfie camera, and a 3D glass rear panel. In terms of camera, it is tipped to feature a quad camera setup. It comprises of a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor, an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, there will be a 25MP front shooter for selfies and video chat. Ticking at its core is said to be the upcoming 7nm Kirin 810 SoC. Finally, the tipster suggests that the handset might be fueled by a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging.

Sadly, the leak doesn’t mention anything about the two phones’ launch date. However, the duo is expected to come out sometime in August or September. In terms of price, its predecessor Honor 8X is a mid-range offering, so we assume that the Honor 9X will also come with a similar price tag to its predecessor.
